چکیده

The antimicrobial susceptibility of the pathogens is essential for successful treatment bovine mastitis. Antimicrobial resistance develops in microbes as a result indiscriminate use antibiotics. Therefore, regular screening required selection appropriate and effective antimicrobials. A study was carried out 60 crossbred dairy cows early lactation with objective to assess morphological characteristics bacterial isolates from California mastitis test (CMT) done 235 individual quarter milk samples. Isolation bacteria by direct streaking CMT positive samples on blood agar followed incubation plates at 37°C 24 h. On Gram's staining, 32 were found be Gram cocci, three bacilli ten negative bacilli. disc diffusion assay revealed that highest against tetracycline (71.11 per cent), ampicillin ceftriaxone-tazobactam (66.67 ceftriaxone (64.44 amoxicillin-sulbactam (62.22 amikacin (57.78 ceftriaxone-sulbactam (55.56 enrofloxacin (46.67 amoxicillin-clavulanate (40 ciprofloxacin (37.78 cent) gentamicin co-trimoxazole (28.89 cent).

The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of subclinical mastitis in dairy cows in Kosovo and the antimicrobial susceptibility of isolated bacteria. Six hundred and twenty four milk samples from individual quarters of 156 lactating cows were tested using California Mastitis Test (CMT) and the positive samples were further analysed using conventional methods for isolation of main mas...

Prevalence and Antimicrobial Susceptibility of Bacteria Isolated From Bovine Mastitis

Mastitis is an inflammatory reaction of the udder tissue which is caused by the bacterial infection. Bovine mastitis is one of the devastating disease causing huge loss to the dairy industry worldwide. Biofilm production and beta-lactamic resistance in Brazilian Staphylococcus aureus isolates from bovine mastitis

Staphylococcus spp. play an important role in the etiology of bovine mastitis. Staphylococcus aureus is considered the most relevant species due to the production of virulence factors such as slime, which is required for biofilm formation. This study aimed to evaluate biofilm production and its possible relation to beta-lactamic resistance in 20 S. aureus isolates from bovine mastitic milk. The...

Antimicrobial resistance patterns to beta-lactams of gram-positive cocci isolated from bovine mastitis in Lithuania.

The aim of the study was to isolate gram-positive cocci from cows with mastitis and to determine their resistance to beta-lactamic antibiotics. Eight hundred and nine strains were isolated and identified as staphylococci (n=516), streptococci (n=199) and enterococci (n=94) from sub-clinical and clinical cases of bovine mastitis in Lithuania. The most common causative agents of udder disease inc...

Genetic characterization of antimicrobial resistance in coagulase-negative staphylococci from bovine mastitis milk.

Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS; n=417) were isolated from bovine milk and identified by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. Nineteen different species were identified, and Staphylococcus xylosus, Staphylococcus chromogenes, Staphylococcus haemolyticus, and Staphylococcus sciuri were the most prevalent species. Resistance to oxacillin (47.0% of th...
